  1. Frank was a three-sport star at
  2. Columbus High School, in Georgia, and
  3. was recruited as a tight end to play
  4. football at the University of Auburn. Frank
  5. accepted a scholarship to play for the
  6. Tigers. He played little his freshman
  7. year, catching three passes for 45 yards.
  8. But playing a little football turned out to
  9. be a big part of FrankΓÇÖs decision to
  10. pursue baseball full-time. After spraining
  11. his knee in practice, Frank decided there
  12. was too much risk of injury in football. He
  13. concentrated solely on baseball. The
  14. rest, as they say, is history.
